We are a family run business with 32 years experience in the field of agricultural engineering specialising in the servicing and repair of all farm machinery especially tractors.

I started out serving an apprenticeship with Eric Matthews & Co (local agricultural dealership) and gaining a City and Guilds in Agricultural Engineering. I moved on to M & C Agricultural Ltd and passed an HGV 1 test whilst with them. Next, I moved on to Roger Warnes Transport Ltd, where I worked on both driving and repairing the lorries and in their workshop repairing their agricultural machinery. Thirteen years later I decided on a change and took a job with Bexwell Tractors Ltd, the local Zetor dealership. I worked as workshop foreman until they ceased trading in October, 2005. The prospect of being made redundant made me decide to continue the Zetor work on a self employed basis and so MJ Clitheroe Agricultural Engineers was formed initially servicing most of the local Bexwell Tractors Ltd customer base as they already knew me.
